What HestiaCP is
HestiaCP is an open-source hosting control panel for Linux. It manages domains, accounts, mailboxes, databases, certificates and backups from a single interface, with the features a reseller expects from cPanel or Plesk. The difference is the model: the code is public, an active community maintains it, and there is no per-account licence.

There is no vendor exam to sit in an open-source project, so what backs the answer is the work: our team administers HestiaCP every day, on the same infrastructure your service runs on.
We take part in the community
We follow and take an active part in the project forums: that is where problems are reported, changes are discussed and cases beyond configuration get resolved. On an open-source panel that channel is the real equivalent of escalating to a vendor.
No licences, no lock-in
There is no per-account licence cost, and anyone can audit the code. Your data stays in standard formats, so moving the sites elsewhere is a migration, not a rescue.
